(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 19-year-old male after police investigated an incident at a James Street, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at approximately 5:31 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen reporting an assault at the Little Inn.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a male entered a residence with an edged weapon and became involved in a verbal altercation with another male which then turned into a physical confrontation.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 19-year-old Corey Adrian WILSON of Norfolk County, Ontario with assault, assault with a weapon, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, break and enter and causing a disturbance.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
