(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – Huron OPP is investigating a recent theft of copper wire stolen from a gravel pit located on Dungannon Road. The business owner reported approximately 400 feet of 8 AWG, 500 v electrical wire was stolen sometime over the past two weeks. The value of the stolen wire is estimated at nearly $5,000. Those responsible also caused an estimated $1500 in damage to the gravel crusher.
