(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of copper plumbing pipes from a vacant home that occurred overnight.
On April 21, 2015 an OPP officer attended a residence on Killarney Bay Road in response to a theft complaint. The residence is being renovated and was vacant the previous night. Initial investigation indicates that the copper pipes and wiring were stolen.
Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
