Convenience Store Robbery – Suspect Descriptions Released

(Tiny Township, On)- Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched at 1:55PM this afternoon to the convenience store near the 5th Concession of Tiny Township after receiving a complaint of a robbery at that location.

2 males entered the store and robbed the clerk of cash after producing a handgun and fled the scene in a blue coloured Dodge Caravan. At the same time a male entered the store to make a purchase and assisted the clerk in describing the suspect vehicle. Investigators would very much like to speak with this male witness and is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

A Suspect Apprehension Pursuit (SAP) was initiated near Orr Lake after the suspect vehicle was spotted by an OPP officer on patrol. The vehicles came into contact in the south bound lanes of Highway 93 just north of Side Road 20/21 in Oro-Medonte Township after a spike belt was deployed. The males fled the scene on foot and are described as being 1) male white, 5’5 thin build
