(Huron County, ON) From January 11, 2010 to January 25, 2010 a commercial motor vehicle enforcement campaign will be running in Huron County. The effort is joint between the Huron OPP, the OPP Mount Forest Traffic Unit and MTO enforcement officers.
Two target areas have been identified. The first is Harriston Road in Howick Township and the second is Blyth Road in the Auburn area. Officers will be conducting commercial vehicle inspections and enforcing the Highway Traffic Act. Numerous complaints of speeding and unsafe driving by commercial vehicle operators have prompted this response. Our goal is to educate drivers about responsible and safe driving for all motorists using the highways.
