Public safety is paramount and as you can see from the results that 40% of the commercial vehicles checked were not safe to be on our roadways. We will continue to conduct such roadside inspections around the county and individual officers will also be conducting their own stops to ensure these vehicles are road worthy.” Stated Inspector Brad Fishleigh – Elgin County OPP Detachment Commander.
