Collisoin At Golf Course – Life Threatening Injuries

(CALEDON, ON) – On April 27th, 2015 shortly after 2 pm, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the OPP were called to investigate a collision which occurred at a local golf course.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the operator of a golf cart was descending a steep embankment when the cart struck a wall causing the operator to be ejected from the vehicle. As a result of the fall, a 52-year old male from Mississauga suffered a life threatening injury and he was transported to a Toronto trauma centre. The passenger suffered a minor injury and he was released from hospital.
