(QUINTE WEST, ON) – Quinte West OPP responded to seven collisions for a period 24 hour period from 7:00am on February 3rd to 7:00am on February 4th.
One of the collisions resulted in Quinte West Fire department attending for extrication of persons trapped in a vehicle and one person being taken to hospital via ambulance for minor injuries.
A collision on Old Highway 2 at Anson Ave resulted in a driver being charged with Careless Driving as well as Driving a Motor Vehicle with No insurance.
Quinte West OPP would like to remind the public to use caution when driving in poor weather conditions and the leave extra following distance between vehicles.
