(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a male driver after investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred on Concession 12 Walpole near Haldimand Road 55 in Hagersville, Haldimand County, Ontario.
On Wednesday December 21, 2016, at approximately 8:11 p.m., OPP and Haldimand County Paramedics responded to Concession 12 Walpole for a single vehicle collision where it was reported that the vehicle had rolled over and landed in the ditch.
OPP investigation has determined that a black Volkswagen vehicle was travelling on Concession 12 Walpole when it left the roadway, skidded, and rolled into the ditch.
The driver was transported by ambulance to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
OPP has charged 28-year-old Michael TEODORO of Haldimand County with careless driving and failing to wear a seat belt under The Highway Traffic Act.
