(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have charged a Kenora female following a motor vehicle collision on Highway 658.
On Tuesday September 9, 2014 just after 7:00 pm, the Kenora OPP received a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 658, Redditt Township. Police attended and located the female inside the vehicle with ambulance and fire at the scene. Upon further investigation, it was determined the female had consumed alcohol. She was arrested and transported for further tests. The female did not sustain any injuries.
As a result of this investigation, Joyce POLISCHUK age 81 of Kenora has been charged with Impaired Driving contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in his Blood section 253(1)(b)CC. She is to appear in Kenora Court on October 16, 2014 to answer to the charges.
