Collision – One Sent To Hospital

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing its’ investigation into a two vehicle collision.

On August 19, 2013 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 35 near Mount Horeb Road. One vehicle became fully engulfed resulting in the closure of the road. The fire department attended to assist with the incident.

One driver was transported via ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries. No charges have been laid at this time but the incident is still being investigated.
