(CALEDON, ON) – On March 8, 2016 at approx. 5:38 pm, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Centreville Creek Road. A portion of the highway on Centreville Creek Road will be closed for several hours between King Street and Healey Road. The OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) will be attending the scene to assist with the investigation.
The collision involved a single motor vehicle. The driver of the motor vehicle was travelling southbound on Centreville Creek Road when for some unknown reason the vehicle left the roadway into the east ditch and rolled over. The driver has been air lifted to a trauma centre with major injuries.
The investigation is still on-going and additional information will be released once it becomes available.
