(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 31, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to a collision involving a 2015 Toyota on Wellington Road 7 near Wellington Road 18, Centre Wellington Township.
The driver, 25-year-old Alannah HATT of Meaford lost control of her vehicle and left the road, striking a tree. She was taken by air ambulance to a Hamilton area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Centre Wellington Fire Rescue Department and Wellington County Roads Department attended the scene.
The cause of the collision continues to be investigated by officers.
