(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On February 26, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a two vehicle collision on Highway 6 and north of the 4th Line, Centre Wellington Township.
31-year-old Julie DISHART of Fergus was driving the Honda and was taken to a Hamilton hospital by air ambulance. 66-year-old Dave TOWNSEND was driving the Ford SUV and 62-year-old Margaret TOWNSEND was the passenger. Both are from Centre Wellington Township and were treated at a local.
Dave TOWNSEND has been charged with Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
