(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 28 year old male with drinking and driving offences after investigating a single vehicle collision at a River Road, Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Tuesday December 29th, 2015 at approximately 9:17 pm Police were contacted to attend a single motor vehicle collision at River Rd near Highland Blvd.
Investigation revealed that a silver 2005 Mazda car being operated by a 28 year old male was travelling along River Road when it left the road and struck a fence. No injuries were sustained to the lone driver. While he was speaking with the officer signs of impairment were detected which led to his arrest.
Charged with Impaired driving and Driving over the legal limit of alcohol is 28 year old Mark DOLAN of Haldimand County, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
