(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment has charged a 22-year-old female after police investigated a single motor vehicle collision at a Nixon Road, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, January 18, 2016 at approximately 7:48 p.m., OPP and Norfolk County Paramedics were called to a single motor vehicle collision at a Nixon Road address.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a vehicle was travelling northbound on Nixon Road when it left the roadway and entered the east ditch. As a result, the vehicle flipped and landed between a hydro pole and gas line.
The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported by paramedics to a local area hospital for further treatment.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 22-year-old Lindsay STEFAN of Norfolk County, Ontario with Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
