Collision Involving School Bus On London Road Update

Condition of Injured Driver Has Improved

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers continue to investigate a collision involving a school bus and a Honda Accord that took place north of Exeter yesterday afternoon.

The preliminary investigation has determined the driver a Honda Accord was travelling southbound on London Road when he crossed the center line and his vehicle collided with the front end of a northbound school bus.

The injured driver of the Honda Accord was extricated from his vehicle and was transported by air ambulance to hospital in London.

The injured driver has been identified as 51-year-old Ibrahim KRASNIQI from London. He remains in hospital with injuries that are considered to be non-life threatening.

The school bus driver and 15 student passengers were not injured. It was earlier reported there were 12 passengers on board the school bus; Huron OPP apologizes for this error.
