(BLANDFORD BLENHEIM TOWNSHIP, ON.) -The driver involved in a collision with an Oxford County OPP cruiser that occurred just after 7:30 a.m. on January 25, 2014 on Highway 401 in the area of Highway 2 has been charged.
Hayatullah ADEL KARIMI, 26 years old, from Woodstock, has been charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act. Both he and the officer received minor injuries in the collision.
Traffic was diverted around the area for several hours while the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation team (TTCI) conducted an investigation.
