(NORTH BAY, ON) – On Sunday, November 23, 2014, at approximately 9:53 a.m., North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 11, North Bay.
A transport was pulling out of a parking lot on the east side of the highway and was turning southbound when a northbound pick-up truck drove into the side of the trailer of the transport.
North Bay Fire Department attended the scene and used Jaws of Life to extricate the driver of the pick-up truck.
The driver of the pick-up truck, a 30 year old male from Alberta, was transported to hospital with non- life threatening injuries.
Dense fog is believed to have been the contributing factor of the collision.
No charges were laid.
