(Ottawa, ON) –The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is currently investigating a multiple motor vehicle collision.
At approximately 7:55 am, a motor vehicle collision occurred involving a tractor trailer and a sedan on Highway 417 westbound near the Moodie Drive overpass. The driver of the tractor trailer was ejected from the vehicle. The cab of tractor trailer caught fire. Two people were transported to Ottawa area hospitals with injuries.
Lane reductions are in effect westbound at Highway 417 near the Moodie Drive overpass. The collision is under investigation and updates will provide when available.
