(GUELPH-ERMAOSA TWP., ON) – On December 5, 2016 at approximately 5:20 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded along with Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a three vehicle collision on Wellington Road 124 near Watson Road in Guelph-Eramosa Township. Two vehicles were travelling east and one was travelling west when the collision occurred.
One driver suffered serious injuries and was transported by air ambulance to a Hamilton hospital, another driver was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The third driver was not injured.
The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by the Wellington County OPP Technical Collision Investigators. Wellington Road 124 will be closed for approximately 5 hours.
