(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment along with Haldimand County Fire Department where called to a motor vehicle collision at a Highway (Hwy) #3, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Saturday April 25th, 2015 at approximately 5:30 am a white 2011 Freightliner truck was travelling east bound on Hwy #3 when it left the road and entered the south ditch rolling onto its side and striking a culvert.
As a result of the collision the 36 year old driver identified as Michael PEARSON of Hamilton, ON sustained non – life threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital after being extricated by Haldimand County Fire Department and receiving emergency medical aid from Haldimand County Paramedics.
Hwy #3 was closed for several hours to allow for investigation and clean-up.
The investigation is continuing.
