(Drummond/ North Elmsley Township, ON) – Officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) closed Highway 7 between Fergusons Falls Road and Concession 9 A of Drummond for 90 minutes due to a single motor vehicle collision at about 9.10 am on Thursday 5th February 2015.
A fifty five (55) year old Perth man sustained serious injuries when the SUV he was driving east on Hwy 7 left the highway and struck a road sign and tree.
The man was taken by air ambulance to hospital in Ottawa.
