(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A local male faces numerous charges after the vehicle he was operating was involved in a collision.
At 7:00 pm on May 3, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted in regards to a single vehicle collision on Ogemah Road near Ramsey Road. Prior to police arrival the driver left the scene on foot, entering a nearby wooded area.
The driver, Colin HORSFALL, 49 years of age, was subsequently arrested and now faces the following charges:
Impaired driving, contrary to the Criminal Code
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, contrary to the Criminal Code
Fail to Remain, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on June 4, 2015.
