(LEEDS, ON.) – Officers of the Leeds Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation into an impaired driver stopped for numerous offences.
On the 18TH of September 2016 at about 11:15 PM O.P.P officers stopped a vehicle first observed on Highway 401 in Front of Yonge Township for a Stunt Driving offence. Reported speeds were 80 kilometres over the posted speed limit.
After further investigation the driver was arrested for Impaired Driving.
22 year old, Cole Darren LARSEN, of Belleville faces charges of Impaired Driving, and Failing to Provide a Sample. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville on 7 October 2016. He faces further charges under the Highway Traffic Act of Stunt Driving, Driving without Insurance, and Driving with an Open Container of Liquor.
The investigation continues.
