(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) – On November 4, 2016, at approximately 7:14 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Egremont Road, at School Road.
Police located the black GMC pickup truck, but the driver had fled the scene. Shortly afterwards, with assistance from the West Region OPP Canine Unit, the Middlesex County OPP were able to apprehend the 26-year-old male driver, near the area.
As a result of the police investigation, Cody PRICE, from Sarnia, Ontario has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Fail to comply with probation order X4
Fail to comply with recognizance
He was further charged with possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).
The accused has been held in custody, and is scheduled to answer to the charges in the London courts.
