(GARDEN RIVER FIRST NATION, ON) – On July 17, 2015 at approximately 10:55 p.m. Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a single motor vehicle rollover Highway 17 west, 2 kilometres east of Syrette Lake Road. The car had left the roadway and rolled over into the median.
The driver transported to hospital by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle had to be towed.
As a result of further police investigation the driver, CODY James Court, 23 years, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
· One count of Driving with more than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in 100 millilitres of Blood as per the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste. Marie on August 10, 2015.
