On Friday, January 17, 2014 at 8:35 p.m., members of the Emergency Response Unit stopped a Mercedes Benz on Cheapside Street, near Highbury Avenue, as a result of an ongoing investigation by members of the Guns and Drugs Section; which consists of members of the London Police Service and RCMP.
Within the vehicle was 242 grams of cocaine. The vehicle was seized as it was used in the commission of an offence.
As a result of the investigation, 31-year-old Kaleeb Jackson of London, has been charged with possess Schedule I substance for trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Seized were the following:
242 grams of cocaine – $24,200
2010 Mercedes Benz C300 – $25,000
