(QUINTE WEST, ON.) – On Wednesday January 5, 2017, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), OPP Emergency Response Team and the Belleville Police Drug Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on North Trent St. in Frankford, ON.
Craig Ross age 54 and Lorena Ross age 53 were arrested at the scene. Both are charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of marihuana and Possess Proceeds of Crime.
As a result of the search warrant, officers recovered $7500 of cocaine and cash, and approximately $1500 in offence related property.
They were released on a promise to appear in court in Belleville on February 23, 2017.
The Investigation is continuing.
