Clayton THOMPSON – Drunk Driving

(DRYDEN, ON.) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Dryden detachment members were on general patrol on Anderson Road in Zealand Township at approximately 230am on Thursday August 7, 2014. Officers had occasion to stop a motor vehicle and learned the driver, Clayton THOMPSON (42years old) of Dryden to be under the influence of alcohol. As a result he has been charged with driving with More than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitre of blood contrary to section 253(b) of the Criminal Code. His driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days along with a 7 day vehicle impoundment. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to return to court on September 22, 2014.
