(South Glengarry) – On October 7, 2016 at approximately 12:25am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere (RIDE) vehicle checks on Boundary Road, South Glengarry Township. A check of a vehicle resulted in the seizure of quantities of suspected ecstasy and marihuana.
The male passenger, David GAUDET (42) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on November 2, 2016.
The female driver, Clarissa SQUARE (23) of Cornwall, Ontario is charged with;
– Drive Motor Vehicle While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on November 15, 2016.
