Saturday evening shortly after 7:00pm, police received information regarding a possible impaired driver near the intersection of Dunlop St. W. and Cedar Pointe Dr. A concerned citizen believed that the male driver was asleep behind the wheel. As the citizen approached to the vehicle it drove off, the citizen provided the police with location updates. A 56 year old Barrie male was arrested on Gadwell Av. He was taken to the station where he provided two samples, both approximately twice the legal limit. Impaired and over 80mgs charges were laid.
