(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment investigated a break and enter after responding to a Queensway West, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Friday, May 15, 2015 at approximately 8:35 p.m., police were called to Queensway Antiques after an alert citizen confronted a male inside the business.
Through investigation it was determined that at approximately 7:30 p.m., an alert resident heard banging noises and then the store door open. The resident then attended the store and observed a male exiting the business who then made threatening gestures.
The suspect fled from the area and was last seen on Colborne Street North.
The suspect is being described as a male, 15 to 19 years of age, wearing a tan shirt and baseball cap.
It does not appear that anything was taken during the entry and police are reminding all Norfolk County residents to put their safety as a priority.
