On August 3rd 2012 at 8:40 P.M. Wingham Police received compliant in regarding a pickup truck sitting on Edward St in Wingham and the occupants appeared to be drinking. Police attended the area, just as the truck was pulling away. The truck was stopped and the driver exited the vehicle. Showing signs of impairment, the driver was arrested for impaired driving and read the breath demand. He was transported to the Listowel OPP office where he was taken before an Intoxilyzer technician and he refused to provide a sample. 50 year old James Morris of Tiverton is charged with Impaired Driving, Refusing to Provide a Sample, and failing to comply with an undertaking. He is to appear in Court in Wingham on August 23rd.
