(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers were advised of a possible impaired driver on Rest Acres Road travelling north bound.
At approximately 6:15 p.m. Thursday January 9th, 2014, officers arrived located the vehicle on Grand River Street North. While an officer was talking to the male driver, he observed all the usual signs of impairment by alcohol. The driver was transported to the County of Brant OPP detachment for Intoxilyzer Tests.
Casey SMITH 43 years of age from Norfolk County is facing the following Criminal charges
Impaired Driving
Drive over 80 milligrams
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on January 31st, 2014 to answer to the charges.
