(MORRIS-TURNBERRY) – On May 3, 2012 at 4:40 p.m. Huron OPP officers and North Huron Fire Department members responded to a small bush fire. The fire started approximately 200 m off of Walton Road in a mixed bush and grass area. The fire which caused minor damage to the bushes was quickly extinguished.
An alert witness had spotted a suspicious male on the property and immediately reported it to police. Officers located the male and upon further questioning he was arrested and charged.
John DYKE, 50, from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with Arson – Damage to Property. He has a court date scheduled for June 21, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice -Wingham.
