(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On October 30, 2015, just before 2:00 a.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Silverado for a speeding violation in the construction zone on Highway 401 eastbound, near the OnRoute Service Centre, Tilbury.
While the officer was speaking with the male driver, it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages. A roadside test was completed which resulted in a warn range suspension. The driver, 51 year-old Christopher UNSWORTH, from Petrolia, was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension and charged for exceeding the posted speed limit of 80 km/hr in the construction zone.
