(TEMAGAMI, ON) On April 29, 2015, shortly before noon, a member of the Temagami Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle for driving erratically on Highway 11, Temagami.
Police checked the status of the 37 year-old driver and further investigation resulted in charges.
Christopher PHILLIPS of Powassan is charged for Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Possession of unmarked cigarettes contrary to section 29(2) of the Tobacco Tax Act.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on June 30, 2015.
