(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment has charged a 27-year-old male after police stopped a motor vehicle at a Simcoe Street, Middleton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, January 28, 2017, at approximately 2:28 a.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen about a vehicle that was travelling eastbound on London Street in Tillsonburg Ontario. Officers patrolling the area located the vehicle and stopped it to investigate the driver at a Simcoe Street address.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 27-year-old Christopher Mark KERSTEN of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
