(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Wednesday January 01, 2014 shortly before 2 a.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a disturbance involving a gun at an Atwood residence.
Upon arrival at the Monument road residence officers determined that a male pointed a pellet gun during the disturbance. The male had been disarmed by some of the persons at the gathering. While being disarmed, the male sustained injuries that required treatment at a local hospital.
The male with the pellet gun, Christopher LORENZ (18) of the Municipality of North Perth has been charged with “assault with a weaponâ€Â. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Listowel on February 12, 2014, to answer to this charge.
