Christopher Johnston – Stolen Credit Cards, Vehicle Entries etc

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County OPP officers have arrested and charged a 20 year old male for several property related offences. On July 23, 2012 a purse was stolen from a business in Goderich. Later that day the accused attempted to use the stolen debit card and credit card at a local bank in Goderich. On July 24, 2012 a delivery driver had his wallet stolen from his unlocked truck while he was making a delivery on South Street in Goderich. A short while later the accused was observed using the stolen credit card at a bank machine in Goderich. On July 31, 2012 a resident from Colborne Street in Goderich had her unlocked vehicle entered and her wallet was stolen. The accused was later observed using one of the stolen debit cards at a bank in Goderich.

As a result, Christopher JOHNSTON, 20, from Goderich was arrested on September 18, 2012 and has been charged with the following offences:

Four counts of Possession of Stolen Property
Five counts of Use Stolen Credit
Three counts of Fail to Comply with Condition of a Probation Order

He has been released from custody with a scheduled court appearance on October 15, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
