(THAMESFORD, ON.) – On January 17, 2015 at approximately 2:59 a.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a vehicle travelling westbound on Dundas Street in Thamesford with a headlamp that was not operational.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 26 year old Christopher GELDART of Thames Centre with the following:
Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood Criminal Code of Canada
Drive while under suspension (2 counts) Highway Traffic Act
Drive without proper headlights – motor vehicle Highway Traffic Act
Use plate not authorized for vehicle Highway Traffic Act
Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner Highway Traffic Act
Operate motor vehicle without insurance Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on February 17, 2015.
