Christmas Gifts Stolen From Chatsworth Residence

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On December 21, 2015 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break-in and theft from a residence on Hwy. 6 (Holland Township) in the Township of Chatsworth.

Sometime between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on December 21st, unknown person(s) forcibly entered the residence and removed a number of items including Christmas gifts. Snowboard equipment, men’s and women’s sportswear clothing, work boots, running shoes, two laptop computers, printer, a panini grill, alcohol and jewelry were among the items taken. The estimated value of the property stolen was between $10,000 and $15,000.

Grey County OPP, with the assistance of the Grey County Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit, Mount Forest, are investigating this break-in and theft and are asking with information which may assist to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
