(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On May 13, 2017, at approximately 10:00 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop of a motor vehicle traveling eastbound on Littlewood Drive near Westdel Bourne.
Officers determined that the 64-year-old female driver of the green Jeep sport utility vehicle (SUV) had been drinking alcohol. She was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, Christine CHEEVERS, from Middlesex Centre, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on June 12, 2017.
