(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 14, 2015 at approximately 4:41 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on Gore Road near Concession 7, Puslinch Township. A female driving a 2014 Dodge was observed travelling well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 123 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
34-year-old Christina PEREIRA of Cambridge has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on October 7, 2015 to answer the charge.
