On December 10, 2015 at 7:45 p.m., three siblings were crossing Block Line Road at Kingswood Drive when two of the group were struck by a motor vehicle driven by a 60 year old Kitchener man. The two siblings, a 17 year old female and her 3 year old sister, were transported to local hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. A portion of Block Line Road was closed for about 1.5 hours as members of the Waterloo Regional Police Traffic Services Branch investigated the collision. The driver of the car was charged with Failing to Yield to a Pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act.
