Child Porn Arrests – Bradley Andrew LANIGAN, Jessie James LOWES and Jahir Salas VARGAS

(LONDON, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Technological Crime Unit, the Essex and Oxford OPP Detachments and the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service have arrested three Ontario men following three separate undercover Child Pornography investigations.

On October 8, 2013 police executed a search warrant at a Ruthven, Ontario residence. As a result of this investigation, one computer system was seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.

As a result of this investigation police arrested Bradley Andrew LANIGAN, 45 years-old of Ruthven, Ontario. He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Accessing Child Pornography and one count of Making Available Child Pornography. The accused will make a first appearance in court on October 30, 2013 in Windsor, Ontario at the Ontario Court of Justice;

In another, unrelated investigation, on October 8, 2013, police executed a search warrant at a Strathroy, Ontario residence. As a result of this investigation, one computer system was seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.

As a result of this investigation police arrested Jessie James LOWES, 25 years-old of Strathroy, Ontario. He is charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography, two counts of Making Available Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused will make a first appearance in court on October 17, 2013 in London, Ontario at the Ontario Court of Justice;

On October 9, 2013, police executed a search warrant at an Ingersoll, Ontario residence. As a result of this investigation, two computers were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.

On October 9, 2013, police arrested Jahir Salas VARGAS, 38 years-old of Ingersoll, Ontario. He is charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography, two counts of Making Available Child Pornography and One count of Accessing Child Pornography. This accused will appear for a bail hearing on October 15, 2013 in Woodstock, Ontario at the Ontario Court of Justice.

All three of these investigations are continuing.
