(Asphodel-Norwood Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a collision on Peterborough County Road 45 just south of Norwood just after 2:00am on Sunday morning. The driver stated that he had to take evasive action, in order to avoid a collision with another vehicle.
During the investigation, officers noticed that the driver had been consuming alcohol.
Chaz Kenneth WILSON (age 25) of Hastings, ON was charged with driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in his blood. The accused is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Court on June 4, 2015.
