Woman Charged with Criminal Harassment CK15030475
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a Sarnia woman in connection with a harassment complaint.
In August 2015 the woman started contacting a Wallaceburg resident known to her via phone and text regarding a family matter. This communication was unwanted and the woman was warned by police to stop.
On October 8, 2015, the woman began texting the Wallaceburg woman again, numerous times. The woman was asked to stop, however continued, so police were contacted again.
Early this morning around 3:30 a.m. the woman was located and taken into custody. The 44-year-old Sarnia woman has been charged with criminal harassment. She was released pending a future court date of October 27, 2015.
Woman Charged with Drug Possession CK15030929
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman following a traffic stop in Chatham.
Last night around 11:40 p.m. an officer on general patrol conducted a traffic stop on Colborne Street near William Street. Through investigation, the female passenger was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for breach of probation. Upon being searched incident to arrest, she was found to be in possession of hydromorphone with an approximate street value of $350.
The 26-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with drug possession. She was released with conditions pending a future court date of November 5, 2015.
Man Charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place CK15030921
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following numerous complaints in Tilbury last night.
Around 8:30 p.m. officers attended the man’s residence in regards to a noise complaint. The man was found outside drinking beer on his porch and was warned.
At 8:55 p.m. the officers returned to find the man still on his porch with the music even louder. The man was issued a noise by-law ticket.
Around 9:30 p.m. officers returned to the residence as the man was outside yelling at his neighbours. The 38-year-old Tilbury man was taken into custody for being intoxicated in a public place. He was transported to police headquarters for his own safety and held until sober.

Yesterday afternoon, police conducted speed enforcement on Devon Drive in Harwich Township.
14 motorists were stopped and issued speeding tickets.
