Police Execute Search Warrant CK15037106
Last night, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Intelligence Section, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence in Chatham.
Approximately $7,750 worth of suspected methamphetamine, cannabis, hashish, fentanyl patches, oxycodone and psilocybin was seized for analysis. Cash, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, brass knuckles with flick knife, collapsible baton, six pellet guns, ammunition and a stolen bicycle was also seized.
A 24-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with 4 counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking, 2 counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon, 9 counts of possession of a firearm, ammunition or prohibited weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order, 2 counts of possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A 43-year-old Chatham man has been charged with 6 counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking, 2 counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon, 36 counts of possession of a firearm, ammunition or prohibited weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order, 2 counts of possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A 54-year-old Harwich Township man has been charged with 4 counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking, 13 counts of failing to comply, 18 counts of possession of a firearm, ammunition or prohibited weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order, 2 counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon, 2 counts of possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. He was released with conditions pending a future court date of January 21, 2016.

Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK15037117
Last night, police located the man in Chatham and he was arrested on an outstanding warrant for the offences of break and enter, possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000 and trespassing by night. Upon being searched incident to arrest, the man was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The 23-year-old Chatham man was additionally charged with drug possession. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Sometime late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a fenced compound at Burke’s Equipment Rental on St. Clair Street. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a red Fire Log splitter valued at $2500.
